Hair transplant is the process of removing the hair follicles from the body and grafting them on the hairless portion. The transplanted area starts shedding hair after 2 weeks.
The treatment takes around 6 to 9 months to show 60% of progress. The treatment doesn’t mean the patient is able to have full grown hair. There are basically two types of hair transplant surgery treatments include-:
The major difference between both the treatments is, in FUE the hair regrowth is possible. After FUE treatment there can be redness on the scalp. The redness is not a major concern, it will vanish after a few weeks. The patient should cover the scalp properly to protect it from harmful bacteria or direct sunlight. In FUSS the chance of hair regrowth is not possible. It even leaves scars on the head, because of the way treatment is performed. The patient needs more time to recover in FUSS. After Treatment After the surgery one should also keep in mind different factors. There may be a side effects of some medicines such as itching, swelling, and swollen eyes. But one of the main question arises, “whether the hair grows back in the donor area after the treatment”? The answer is ‘no’. The hair re-growth will only take place in those area, where the hair follicles are not removed entirely. It is a fact that the hair regrowth cannot happen in a few days. The patient needs to take proper medication and a healthy diet.
